MS, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner
Hello, my name is Sherry Tackett and I would like to introduce myself to you. I have a passion for helping others acheive optimal health and wellness in their lives. In 1999 I graduated with a Masters of Science degree in Nursing as well as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Phoenix. During the course of pursuing my degrees I worked with six certified nurse midwives, a Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner and Naturopathic doctors giving me plenty of hands on experience during my educational years. After graduating from nursing school as an RN in 1982, I worked in cardiology where I was chosen to be on the transplant team at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix.
After graduating from the University of Phoenix, I worked with Dr. Dana Keaton NMD and Dr. Donese Worden NMD where I worked with and prescribed bio-identical hormones, homeopathics and herbal medicine for women. In my clinic I use an integrative approach to health care, using both conventional and traditional modalities.
In 2001 I joined Dr. Ingrid Haas’s gynecology practice. In 2008 the Mind Body Spirit Center was born and I continue to specialize in the use of bio-identical hormones, homeopathics and herbs for peri-menopause and menopause.
Sherry has her Masters in Acupuncture from Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine & Acupuncture (PIHMA) in Phoenix. She graduated in 2014 with 1000 hours of internship at PIHMA’s clinic prior to graduation. Sherry is also certified with NCCAOM, National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Sherry is a member of the Holistic Nurses Associtation and a provider for the Well Care organization for under served women.
